Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Narh-Bita Hospital, as part of its social obligations, reaches out to the general public by participating in and providing frequent free medical care, giving health and educational talks as well as donating medical items to the underprivileged in society and to other health facilities. Some of the communities that have benefited from our frequent outreach programs include: The Society of St Vincent de Paul (daycare for the aged), National Walk with the Disabled, Tema Veteran Keep fit club, OLAM Senior High School, Managed Health Care and Coca-cola bottling company, Manya Jorpanya near Doryumu, Odumase- Krobo, Penim near Bawjiase, Osebo Nkwanta, Tema New Town, Aklamador in the Volta Region of Ghana, Tokuroano and Akaa in the Oti Region of Ghana, among others. The staff of the hospital, as well as students from the Narh-Bita College, participate in these exercises. Additionally, the hospital supports needy but bright students with scholarship schemes to help further their education in mainly science- related fields.
